Who We Are

Fatah Youth Movement

A student movement rooted in representation, participation and responsible service.

The Fatah Youth Movement is the youth and student framework associated with the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah. It works with young people and students, particularly across universities, schools and community institutions.

Its role includes organising student, national, cultural, social and voluntary activities, representing students and defending their rights, and preparing young leaders who can participate, influence and take responsibility.

The movement emerged in the Palestinian territories in the late 1970s and early 1980s, later developing into an organised youth and student framework committed to strengthening the role of Palestinian youth in national, university and community life.

How We Serve

Our Role, Commitment and Ambition

Three dimensions define our relationship with medical students today and the direction we seek to build.

01

Our Role in the Faculty of Medicine

Our role begins with an understanding of the demands of medical education and its need for sustained effort and practical training. We support students throughout their university journey and develop programmes that connect theoretical knowledge with practice.

We also strengthen cooperation across study years, encourage the exchange of experience and help students develop academically, clinically and in research so they graduate able to fulfil their professional and humanitarian mission responsibly.

02

Our Commitment to Students

We commit to staying close to students and their concerns, working responsibly and transparently, and opening our programmes and activities to all students.

Our initiatives are designed around the real needs of medical students and must make a practical contribution to their university experience and scientific and professional growth.

03

Our Ambition

We seek to build a strong and effective student movement that responds to the needs of medical students, develops sustainable education and training, and expands student participation in research and community service.

We also aim to grow our partnerships with medical and academic institutions and create more opportunities for training, learning and volunteering that serve both students and Palestinian society.
